  Our Story

What started inside a U.S. military base in Yongsan, Seoul back in 2012 has grown into one of the most trusted bike shops in the Camp Humphreys community.

For over 15 years, founder Mike Kwak has been building, fitting, and servicing bikes for riders who demand more than just a bike off the shelf. After relocating to Pyeongtaek in 2018 to be closer to Camp Humphreys, Platoon Cycles has become the go-to destination for service members and cycling enthusiasts looking for premium bikes and expert service.

2012년, 서울 용산 미군부대 안에서 작은 자전거 매장으로 시작했습니다.                      15년 넘게 자전거만을 다뤄온 현장 전문가입니다. 수천 대의 하이엔드 바이크를 조립하고, 정비하고, 라이더 한 명 한 명에게 맞는 세팅을 찾아주는 일을 해왔습니다.

2018년 평택 캠프 험프리스 인근으로 자리를 옮긴 뒤, 플래툰사이클은 주한미군은 물론 국내 라이더들에게도 신뢰받는 프리미엄 자전거 전문 매장이 되기위해 노력하고 있습니다. 또한 단순히 자전거를 파는 곳이 아닌, 고객에게 맞는 자전거를 찾기위 해 최선을 다하고 있습니다.
